Octagonal sand, also known as eight petal sand, is specially used for processing surfaces with complex shapes due to its unique segmented structure, especially for uneven surfaces, corners, grooves, and carved areas that are difficult to polish by hand
Furniture and Woodworking: Polish the grooves and carvings of wooden stairs, tables and chairs, remove old paint surfaces, deburr furniture edges and corners, and create natural wood grain through wire drawing treatment.
Metal processing: used for drawing and polishing stainless steel products, as well as rust removal, deburring, and mold polishing of metal workpieces.
Other materials: can be used for edge polishing of ceramics and glass, shaping of stone, and removing old paint surfaces in car repairs.
When in use, octagonal sand is usually paired with a pneumatic octagonal sanding machine or sanding machine, utilizing its high speed (usually recommended at 600-1000 revolutions per minute) for operation. It has different abrasive materials such as alumina and silicon carbide, with a particle size range usually from P80 (coarse grinding) to P600 (fine grinding). You can choose according to the actual required surface smoothness
